Scott Adkins is Senior Manager of the AARP Foundation’s West Virginia Programs. Mr. Adkins has been an advocate for West Virginia’s seniors for many years. Prior to joining the AARP Foundation, Mr. Adkins was Consumer Education Outreach Coordinator for the West Virginia Attorney General’s Office. A former teacher and coach, Mr. Adkins also worked in the coal industry for 14 years. He is a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Marshall University as well as a Master’s degree from West Virginia Graduate College.
