Gregg is a lifelong resident of West Virginia having grown up in Barbour county and graduating from Philip Barbour High School in 1974. He then attended West Virginia University where he graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He began his career working for Hercules Inc. (now Alliant Techsystems) at the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory in 1980 as an engineer in the Product Design group working on new propulsion concepts for tactical missiles. Gregg has held various supervisory and management positions at ABL including VP of Engineering, and VP of the Tactical Propulsion business unit. He currently resides in Keyser, WV, with his wife Janet, and their two children.
