Nancy Righman has been a lifelong resident of Barbour County and serves as Administrative Assistant to President/CEO of Freedom Bank and Secretary of the Board of Directors. She returned to banking in 1996 and her current duties, in addition to Board secretary, are mainly commercial loans and marketing. She is a graduate of Philip Barbour High School and Fairmont Business College. She and her husband, Jerry, operate a farm where they run stocker cattle. She is a member of the Barbour County Livestock Association, Barbour County FFA Advisory Board, WV Cattleman’s Association, WV 4-H All Stars and Barbour County Chamber of Commerce. She is a past 4-H Leader and enjoys working with children. She and Jerry have two children, Nicholas Righman, a Masters graduate of WVU, and Jennifer McConnell, a Doctorate graduate of WVU, and a granddaughter, Jordan McConnell. Jennifer, Jesse and Jordan live in Bear, Delaware, where Jennifer is an associate professor in engineering at the University of Delaware. Nicholas currently travels in his work with Howard Concrete and spends spare time working on the farm. I enjoy traveling to Delaware, gardening, reading and suduko when time permits.
