Ceason Ranson is a real estate attorney from Ripley, West Virginia. After earning her B.A. in 2004 in History and Political Science at West Virginia Wesleyan College, and earning a J.D. in 2007 at West Virginia University College of Law, she worked as an independent abstractor running oil and gas titles in West Virginia and Ohio’s most interesting courthouses, while also running a wedding venue on her family’s Jackson County property. She is currently employed as an associate with Adams, Fisher, and Chappell in Ripley, West Virginia, focusing on real estate transactions, estate planning, and elder law.

When not nosing her way through public records, Ceason can be found serving on the boards for the Jackson County Development Authority and the Jackson County Players, serving on the marketing committee for the Jackson County Community Foundation, in addition to serving as the president- elect for the Ripley Rotary Club. She also writes a weekly community issues column in the Jackson Herald.

When not in the office or volunteering, Ceason enjoys rummaging through used bookstores, doing Bob Ross impressions in front of her easel, writing short stories and plays, and evening porch- sitting.
