2019 Current Class

Thomas Butcher is a native of Summersville, West Virginia and with the exception of a few months has lived his entire life in WV. In 1992 he graduated from WVU with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. Later that year he started working for FirstEnergy’s MonPower as a meter reader in Summersville. In 1998 he started managing meter reading and collections for FirstEnergy’s Potomac Edison in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle. He remained in that area of WV working with PE’s industrial relations group. He is currently working within the External Affairs group of FirstEnergy where he has responsibilities to all government agencies and elected officials within the Eastern Panhandle. He lives there with his wife of 25 years and their three children. As time permits between the many sporting events for the children, they enjoy boating and traveling to warm destinations.
