Jason is a Monroe County native and has lived in West Virginia his entire life. In 2011, Jason graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Math Minor. Two years later, Jason graduated from West Virginia University with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering. After graduating from West Virginia University, Jason joined Kokosing Construction Company as a field engineer in the construction industry. Jason has experience managing large highway construction projects across multiple states. Notable projects in West Virginia include the I-64 Carter Bridge to Brooks Street Interchange Design Build Project in downtown Charleston and currently the Corridor H: Kerens to US 219 Connector Design Build Project just outside of Elkins, WV. Jason currently resides in Monroe County, but enjoys traveling the state for work and hobbies. Some of his favorite hobbies include fly fishing, mountain biking, and hiking.
